UAE students go head to head in Inter-School Climate Change Quiz

Heroes of the UAE National Inter–School Climate Change Quiz was held at the Knowledge Village Conference Centre Auditorium, Dubai, on Tuesday, April 20th. Quiz hosts Derek O’Brien (Private Schools) and Zaher Harmoush (Government Schools) conducted the quiz shows in front of packed audiences of cheering students. Composed of three rounds: UAE Girls, UAE Boys and Private Schools teams, the competition was fierce, with each student well armed with environmental knowledge and know-how.

In the UAE Girls round Amna Ayman and Menat Allah Mohamed of the Umm Al Quwain Girls School stole the show while Hussain Mohamed and Ahmed Mousa of Ibn Al Haytham School, Ajman, saw off stiff competition in the UAE Boys round. M. Vigneshwari and Angeline Benny of Our Own English High School, Sharjah, were named Heroes of the UAE Campaign winners in the Private School round.
