The Heroes of the UAE Climate Change Quiz Competition

The Heroes of the UAE Climate Change Quiz Competition took off to an exciting start on Monday February 8th 2010 with the Elimination Round. All participating private schools in Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Sharjah and Ras al Khaimah took the test at the same time, with a total of 72 participating students across the Emirates.

EWS-WWF staff along with HSBC staff volunteers conducted the tests, with the co operation of host schools in each of the Emirates.

This quiz competition offers the opportunity for students to pitch their knowledge on global warming and climate change against other students in the UAE.

Winners of the Elimination Round will compete head to head in a Final National round in April 2010, and win some very exciting prizes!
